HISTORY OF VOHL INC. IN QUEBEC
From the forge shop founded in 1918 to the state-of-the-art CNC machining center, the Saint-Marc-des-Carrières company has become over the years a leader in equipment manufacturing in Quebec. The founder, Mr. Adrien Vohl, bought a forge in 1918 and, soon, with industrial development, he was called upon to carry out repair work on heavy machinery for the main companies in the Portneuf region. The company expanded and its reputation spread with new contracts for industrial and agricultural machinery from all over Quebec.
In 1950, Mr. Vohl designed and manufactured his first snowblower. The machine was a great success and other models followed over the years with the same quality that made Vohl Inc. a leader in the field of snowblowers. In 1967, thanks to the expertise developed in design and manufacturing, Vohl Inc. began manufacturing a small short log carrier. The F4 Dion was a great success with forestry workers and is still very popular today with its users. Far from stopping there, in 1983, the manufacturer began developing a sweeper for airport runways; once again, Vohl Inc. distinguished itself by the undeniable quality of its product.
In 2015, the third generation of the family business continues to innovate by introducing new high-quality snow removal products adapted to today's market
